Mahima Shrestha is a person who impressed me with her grounded and leveraged insight into human psychological behaviour. Not only has she had her own deep personal insight into her innate wellbeing but she has the ability to articulate the fundamental Principles that allow human beings to access their full potential regardless of circumstances and perceived barriers and limitations.

Mahima deeply impacted our learning programme and I would highly recommend her as someone who can educate, impact and deeply move whoever she works with to another level of performance in both their personal and professional lives.

As the host of a popular weekly podcast I’m lucky enough to get to speak regularly to pretty amazing people, including best- selling authors and TED speakers. But even against this stellar backdrop when Mahima came on the show she stood out as someone who has an exceptionally clear and down to earth way of speaking about the most profound matters of life.

I wholeheartedly recommend Mahima if you’re looking for that as-rare-as-a-unicorn person who is able to speak in a compelling, logical and inspiring manner about topics as complex as social change, crisis response and innovation. She rocks!

A session with Mahima left me feeling oodles lighter emotionally- in a single session Mahima helped in unraveling the consequences of a deep seated memory / trauma that were holding me back professionally (and even personally). It was a strangely beautiful exercise in 'connecting the dots' that helped me see my potential, minus the negative talk and mind chatter, in a different light altogether. Before the session, I categorized myself as a 'fearful person' when it came to taking chances, internalising rejections and viewing the services I offer as 'not enough' or not satisfactory.

After the session, I feel confident talking about my services and have come to accept that they may not be for everyone (this alone has helped me reduce the time spent on internal monologues and instead take action).

I would STRONGLY recommend this coaching experience to everyone- those who know what's holding them back and those who don't.

Overwhelming confusion and crushing sadness is the best way I can describe my state of mind and my reason for seeking guidance from Mahima. I had lost faith in my ability to accept and surrender to guidance and coaching. Nothing had worked so far. But somehow, Mahima’s vocabulary was different. She spoke words that I understood and resonated and she had tangible healing tools.

She picked up pieces of me with a kind spoon and lay them gently on a soft cushion. While giving me permission to own my memories, feelings, thoughts and emotions, she presented them to me under a different light. The sessions themselves were extremely fun, light-hearted and inspiring and I always looked forward to spending these hours with Mahima.

This has translated into a personal journey of healing- a willingness to leave the past behind. Gradually, pain became strength to draw from, memories became a bank of knowledge and clarity was born out of confusion. I called her a witch and wept with gratitude. Mahima does with the mind what Marie Kondo does with our cupboards. All delivered in a graceful Mary Poppins’ kind of way.

I sought out coaching with Mahima because I felt that my trauma and triggers were taking control of my days again. When a difficult situation arose - I was finding it completely overwhelmed me and paralysed a lot of my positive thinking or urge to initiate change. Even if I knew what to do practically - the emotional response to the situation wore me down and I didn’t want to feel like that anymore. Previously, I found therapy very helpful but its gotten me into the habit waiting for another person to explain why I’m feeling a certain way, how to calm down, what to do etc.

This program has helped me accept the responsibility of understanding my emotions and stresses back onto me. And as situations arise and I help myself - I do feel proud and a great sense of growth. I think many people are wanting to grow and shift their mindset but its a really daunting feeling and feels like one big unachievable task. If you're a bit overwhelmed by life or, like me, have a history of trauma- after working with Mahima you feel less exhausted, which means you’re in a better frame of mind to make bigger changes in career, relationships travel etc. I 100% recommend working with Mahima; i have already been telling my friends about it.

Mahima is an exceptional speaker (and writer!) She has a unique ability to convey a message of hopefulness for our world in a way that is both profound and yet incredibly clear, concise and practical. Her life and work experience, combined with her warmth and presence of mind makes me want to have her as a speaker at all of our events!

The program encouraged me personally to embrace life without fear.I don’t know what exactly was it about the program, but gradually within our own time each of us opened up and changed.

The program format encouraged reflection, curiosity and learning to make sense of things for ourselves.
The program has most certainly changed the way I look at things. The biggest example being my attempt to thrive after quitting my job.

My biggest learning from both the training and trainer is patience. I am inspired by the patience, generosity and cheerfulness Mahima brought to our sessions.
